Although I am relatively new to the gaming industry, I have been playing and developing RPGs since the first version of Dungeons & Dragons came out over 20 years ago. I graduated from UCLA in 1993 with a degree in Mathematics and have spent most of the last nine years working in the software industry. My job before Bastion was as the QA Manager at a local Seattle firm. Since helping start the company in 2001, I have written three products for Bastion Press: Minions, Arms & Armor, and Oathbound: Domains of the Forge. My principal position is currently as the lead developer for our Oathbound properties and creative director for all other Bastion Press releases.
On a personal note, I grew up in Los Angeles, although I have been living here in Seattle now for eight years. I have been friends with Todd for the last five years, and the two of us spent a great deal of time together creating gaming scenarios, campaigns, and rules for our personal use before joining Bastion Press. While not sitting in my office or playing games, I enjoy traveling, making music, writing, sinister plotting, cycling, and inflicting performance art upon the public. I also have a keen interest in history, and draw much inspiration for my writing from the wild and turbulent past of this strange world that we all call home.
