Todd R. Laing, Designer
|
The survivor of a reckless youth laced with wild parties,
three-day games, and poor school attendance, Todd finally settled
down to earn sheepskins in Ancient History, Art-History, and English
– all passions he still clings to. After several years of retail
middle management, he eventually pursued his first love and became a
high school teacher for disadvantaged youths, teaching history,
social studies, computer skills, and life-management.
During this formative period Todd authored several RPGA
tournaments for Call of Cthulhu and AD&D. He has written for Fast
Forward Entertainment and is at present a designer for Bastion
Press. He has contributed work to Wrack and Ruin, Arena,
and the upcoming Mysteries of Arena, as well as co-developing
a new product line. He anticipates a long partnership with Bastion
Press and its pool of extremely talented developers.
Todd entertains himself with anything Tolkien, history books,
and historic models. He resides in Tucson with his understanding and
sympathetic wife, daughter, son, two cats, two dogs and a parcel of
relatives that have decided to stay.
