| | | | Bastion Press Launches Oathbound.net Website November 20th, 2004 (Seattle, WA): Bastion Press, Inc., creators of the cosmos-spanning Oathbound campaign setting, announced the creation of a new website to support their flagship campaign setting. The new site, www.oathbound.net , is built entirely around the Oathbound setting, offering unique content, exclusive message boards, an interactive character sheet crafted specifically for Oathbound, and other materials.
What will you find on Oathbound.net?
Raven's Report: We'll be continuing our series of articles for the Oathbound world. Raven's Report is a monthly feature on the site that is used to provide bite-sized morsels of Oathbound lore and gameplay information for the world. This is also where you'll find short fiction and other materials for the world.
Archives: We'll be placing essential material from all of the Oathbound products onto the website to provide a complete overview to the world. To tie into this, we'll also be releasing all of the Oathbound products as PDF releases in the near future.
Message Boards: We've set up specific message boards to make asking questions about Oathbound easier and more useful.
"I'm very excited about this new site," said Kevin Melka, Creative Director for Bastion Press. "In addition to all of our old content from www.bastionpress.com we'll be developing new content, information for new players and GMs, post fan-submitted material, update older products and errata, and later in 2005 we'll be launching our interactive LEGENDS OF THE FORGE campaign. It is our hope that this new home for Oathbound will give our fans even more material in which to build their campaigns, and give the Bastion Design Team more input in developing future products."
"This is an exciting time for me and everyone else at Bastion Press," said Thomas Knauss, line developer for the Oathbound campaign setting. "Oathbound.net is an outstanding resource for delivering new content as well as providing an interactive forum between the fans and the designers of this incredibly imaginative and innovative campaign setting. And it is only going to get better. The next Oathbound supplement, Wildwood, is going to continue the amazing journey for those already familiar with the world of the Forge, while giving newcomers an opportunity to experience the Forge for the first time. I'm looking forward to what the future holds."
